USY Specialty Clubs

613 Mitzvah Corps: The main SA/TO Club of  USY, your donation of $6.13 a year will help Jews all over the world, from India to Israel, Poland to South America, and more! You set an amazing example of giving tzedakah that others can follow. You also receive the SA/TO newsletter (Eit La'asot) to inform you about, and give you ideas in the areas of Tikun Olam (Repairing the World), G'milut Hasidim (Acts of Loving Kindness), and Social Action. All members of Teaneck USY automatically become members of the 613 Mitzvah Corps.

HeChalutzim: USY's specialty club for Israel activism, named in honor of the original "Chalutzim," pioneers that built Israel into what it is today. The pioneers initiated ideas and worked hard at their goal of settling Israel. So too do USY's Chalutzim initiate their own ideas to benefit Israel and learn about Israel . If you are interested, then Hechalutzim is the USY club for you.

Heschel Honor Society: To encourage USYers to learn more about Judaism and the observance of Mitzvot, USY established the Heschel Honor Society, named after Abraham Joshua Heschel (1907-1972), a faculty member of the Jewish Theological Seminary, and one of the most influential Jewish figures of modern times. Members commit to upholding three valuable tenets of Judaism: Torah (study), Avodah (prayer), and G'milut Chasidim (acts of lovingkindness.)  Join the Heschel Honor Society today.
